There is something so beautiful about the Kingfisher, Those bright colours really popping so much it doesn’t feel real. These beautiful birds are so quick when they fly it’s often a blur! 
I wanted to create a special and unique piece where this beautiful creature is the sole focus . 
Created using two layers of real copper leaf. 
Painted on a 30x24cm Belle Arti Italian canvas in a wooden sustainable brass plated frame, the total frame is 34.5cm high x 28.5cm wide. Depth is 3cm.
