There’s something so mysterious about these red wolves, being one of the rarest in the world located in only the Southeastern USA, approx 30-40 in existence in the wild. By painting him in detail I wanted to highlight this species as being in so many ways absolutely stunning but not yet known to many is their plight for survival.
The frame is a gorgeous bronze effect look that really brings out the colours in the painting. Painted on a Belle Arti Italian white canvas in a wooden sustainable frame 44.5cm wide by 54.3cm height and 3cm depth.
