One of the more challenging pieces I’ve painted, painting in a clear linen means you have nowhere to go if it goes wrong. But I absolutely loved the challenge of painting these beautiful and often misunderstood characters, they put family above everything and to me are one of the most inspiring of the animal world.

The canvas is a 50x70 Belle Arti Linen Canvas framed in an ash wood frame with a black internal mount to edge the painting by Artisan Framers Shaftesbury.
