One of the more challenging pieces I’ve painted, painting in a clear linen means you have nowhere to go if it goes wrong. But I absolutely loved the challenge of painting these beautiful and often misunderstood characters, they put family above everything and to me are one of the most inspiring of the animal world.
The canvas is a 50x70 Belle Arti Linen Canvas framed in a black floating frame by Artisan Framers Shaftesbury.
